I’m an experienced and engaging educator.

For many years, I have guided museum visits, taught hands-on workshops for kids and adults, developed educational programs, spoken at conferences… I even worked as a tour guide while I was in college! (True story: I lived in Tunisia for a summer, and I took tourists all around the country.)

Places I’ve taught:

The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York • The California Academy of Sciences • The Museum of Children’s Arts in Oakland • The City College of San Francisco • And more!

Check out my EVENTS for a list of school visits, workshops and conferences

I organize Children’s Books events and workshops for aspiring writers and illustrators in San Francisco. Together with author/illustrator Charlotte Cheng I host Picture Book Surgery – A workshop/bookclub for picture book lovers.
